The "Simplify and Debureaucratize" form is available on the SIGRHE (Interactive Human Resources Management System for Education) platform, according to information released by the Ministry of Education.
In a video message, on the same social network, the Minister of Education, Fernando Alexandre, assures that "the Government is committed to digitalising and simplifying processes within public schools from September", noting that the executive wants teachers "free to teach and not overloaded with paperwork that counts for little in educational success".
"I am counting on your involvement so that, together, we can make a difference in the fight against bureaucracy", urged the minister, hoping that the department will gather "the contributions and suggestions of teachers and non-teaching staff to simplify and digitalize the procedures required for the daily routines of schools".
"Simplify, reorganise and eliminate processes that do not serve student learning or contribute to the well-being of teachers and non-teaching staff", reinforced Fernando Alexandre.
In a letter addressed to teachers, via the Directorate-General for School Administration, the minister issued the same challenge and thanked them "for their commitment throughout the school year, which is essential for the success of students".
The program of the new PSD/CDS Government led by Luís Montenegro has chosen the fight against bureaucracy as one of its priorities.
