Finland has signed a preliminary agreement with Iceye to obtain its first satellites dedicated to national defense.

The deal with the domestic technology firm comes amid growing state support for the Finnish space sector, and earlier this month, Business Finland allocated over €41 million to support its research and development.
Iceye has also signed an agreement with the Polish armed forces worth approximately €200 million.
