The Public Security Police (PSP) have also warned that it will be necessary to reserve parking on several streets and have advised people to travel by public transport, although they admitted that public transport will also be “severely affected”.

The doors are scheduled to open to the public at 5 pm on Thursday, but the PSP will start monitoring parking and traffic earlier.

Traffic will be restricted on Avenida Machado Santos (next to the stadium) between 8:00 am on Wednesday and midnight on Thursday, and on several roads converging with this road from 4:00 pm on Thursday until 1:00 am on Friday.

Avenida Eusébio da Silva Ferreira (access to Parque -3 and Avenida do Colégio Militar) and Rua João de Freitas Branco (near Parque 8 – Rotatória das Oliveiras) will be subject to “severe restrictions” from 4:00 pm on Thursday, and there may be a complete blockage of traffic before the end of the show until 1:00 am on Friday.

In Praça Cosme Damião (EMEL Parking Lot), the restrictions will be in place from 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, and there may be traffic closures before the end of the show until 2:00 a.m. on Friday. On Avenida do Colégio Militar (between Rua Galileu Galilei and Avenida Condes de Carnide), traffic will be blocked before the end of the show until the public has fully flowed in.

As for the restricted parking areas, the PSP reported that parking reservations will be required on several streets, namely on Avenida Machado Santos (next to the stadium) and at the impasse on Rua João de Freitas Branco (near park 8 – Rotunda das Oliveiras), from 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday until midnight on Thursday.

On the same Avenida Machado Santos, but on the opposite side of the stadium, 40 parking spaces are available for people with reduced mobility from 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday until midnight on Thursday.

Parking at Praça Cosme Damião/Parque da “EMEL” will be restricted from 8am on Wednesday until midnight on the day of the concert.

The PSP advises spectators to arrive in advance, given that security procedures are in place at the entrance, and that they should avoid taking bags and backpacks into the stadium.

It also advised that citizens traveling in their own vehicles follow the PSP's instructions for parking in the lots reserved for concert spectators.
