The story follows Peter and Debbie, a seemingly typical British couple who meet the eccentric and overly friendly Elsa while on a cruise. What begins as a harmless holiday encounter turns into a domestic nightmare when Elsa unexpectedly arrives at their doorstep weeks later. As they struggle with the limits of politeness and the fear of appearing rude, the situation spirals into chaos, challenging everything they thought they knew about good manners.

Directed by Celia Williams, the play features a vibrant cast of local and international talent, delivering Moffat’s signature blend of intelligence, absurdity, and social commentary. "The Unfriend" is a comedy that balances satire and suspense, inviting the audience to reflect on the absurdities of modern civility.
