Now in its 7th edition, the West Algarve Golf Trophy has become a popular golf tournament in the western Algarve, attracting amateur players of all abilities to enjoy a relaxed and sociable event. Taking place from Wednesday, 26 November to Friday, 28 November 2025, the tournament will be hosted across three of the region’s courses: Boavista Golf & Spa, Espiche Golf, and Palmares Ocean Living & Golf.

Open to men and women of all abilities, the event will run as an Individual Stableford format with a shotgun start each day. Daily prizes will be awarded for skills challenges, and overall trophies will be presented to the top three men and women, along with a gross score winner. The overall champion will have their name engraved on the main trophy, which is traditionally displayed at one of the hosting golf clubs.

Off the course, players can enjoy a welcome cocktail and a celebratory awards lunch on the final day.
