This year, the venue will once again have seven stages, one of which is dedicated to comedy. They will host 122 performances by 112 artists and bands, 31 of which are Portuguese, "for all tastes," highlighted promoter Álvaro Covões, of Everything is New, in a statement to Lusa.
Today, a sold-out day, the big highlight is American Olivia Rodrigo, who at 22 has released two albums: "Sour" (2021) and "Guts" (2023).
At the end of June, the singer closed the British festival Glastonbury with one of the most acclaimed performances of the year, featuring The Cure frontman Robert Smith as a guest.
In addition to Olivia Rodrigo, today, the main stage at NOS Alive will feature Mark Hambor, Benson Boone, and Noah Kahan.
The second stage, which this year "has substantially increased in size," responding to audience demand, will feature Gree Leather, Bad Nerves, Artemas, Barry Can't Swim, Glass Animals, Parov Stelar, and Nathy Peluso.
The other stages – Clubbing, Coreto, Fado Café, Comédia, and Pórtico – will feature artists and bands such as Girls 96, Baleia Baleia Baleia, Pedro Moutinho, Diogo Clemente, Mónica Vale de Gato, Guilherme Duarte, and Shakra.
On Friday, the headliner is American DJ Anyma. Also confirmed for that day are performances by Justice, The Wombats, Girl in Red, Finneas, St. Vincent, Capicua, Mother Mother, Mike11, Herlander, Zarco, Luísa Amaro, Luís Franco Bastos, and Guilherme Fonseca, among others.
Saturday's lineup includes Muse, Nine Inch Nails, Future Islands, Foster The People, Bright Eyes, Jet, A-Trak, Left., Bombazine, Luís Severo, Teresinha Landeiro, Cebola Mol, Jel, and Ana Arrebentinha, among others.
The venue, which opens daily at 3 p.m. and closes at 4 a.m. the following day, has a capacity of 56,000 people, in addition to the 6,000 people who will be working, including staff and journalists.
The organizers recommend using public transportation to get there.
This year, daily tickets for the festival, which are only available for Friday and Saturday, cost 84 euros.
Three-day passes are sold out, with two-day passes—Friday and Saturday—costing 168 euros. Two-day passes for Thursday and Friday and Thursday and Saturday are also sold out.
