Korean researchers have developed a temporary tattoo that can instantly detect the presence of GHB – commonly linked to drug-facilitated sexual assault – by changing colour when touched with a spiked beverage.

The low-cost, multicoloured tattoo offers discreet, near-instantaneous results and could soon join other anti-spiking tools such as nail polish and drink stirrers.
In addition, the results last for up to a month, which can help preserve evidence of suspected tampering.
