The Santa Catarina Fortress will host the 10th edition of the Portimão wine tasting this weekend, an event where visitors can sample the wines produced by local winemakers.

To accompany the wines, visitors can sample seafood from the Algarve coast, cheeses, sausages, and regional sweets, the Faro district municipality said in a statement.
The event, with free admission, runs from 8:00pm until midnight. Each tasting of vintage wines costs €2.50 and that of reserve wines costs €3.50.
The program also includes musical performances and entertainment.
