From July 22 to August 3, the program also features soloists from the world's leading performing arts, including cellist Gary Hoffman, soprano Anna Samuil and tenor Werner Güra, pianist Milana Chernyavska, violist Gérard Caussé, violinists Lena Neudauer and Stephan Picard, bassist Janne Saksala, and pianist Filipe Pinto-Ribeiro, the Festival's artistic director.

In addition to the CCB, the Picadeiro de Belém/Museu dos Coches is the Festival's other venue, hosting one of two monographic concerts, dedicated to Robert Schumann, on July 30th. The other monographic concert, dedicated to Franz Schubert, will be held on the 26th at the CCB.

Returning to the venue where the Festival began in 2015 was a long-held desire of its artistic director, Filipe Pinto-Ribeiro, who conceived "the project to be part of the CCB" and believes "the conditions are in place to guarantee the success and sustained continuity of 'Verão Clássico'" after recent years "of great logistical challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic."

This year, Verão Clássico presents ten concerts between July 23rd and August 2nd, as well as six "Talent Fest" concerts from July 24th to August 1st, featuring works by composers from the 18th century to the present.

In this 11th edition, the masterclasses—open lessons on musical technique and interpretation led by internationally renowned musicians and pedagogues—have attracted over 200 participants from 30 countries, "with a significant presence of musicians from North American, European, and Asian universities, as well as around one hundred Portuguese students," Pinto-Ribeiro told Lusa.
