Every year, Taste Atlas publishes a list of the 100 best dishes in the world, based on 367,847 valid reviews for 11,258 dishes in its database. This ranking is a global reflection of gastronomic diversity and richness.
The first place belongs to lechona, a traditional Colombian dish consisting of roast pork stuffed with onions, peas, fresh herbs and various spices. Lechona is typical at celebrations, as one can serve up to 100 people, according to Taste Atlas.
In second place worldwide, and first in Europe, is the Neapolitan pizza, an icon of Italian cuisine. This simple and emblematic creation is made with few ingredients and comes in two main variants: marinara and margherita.
Portuguese cuisine also has a presence in this global top, with Clams à Bulhão Pato taking 18th place. This dish is a classic reference from the Lisbon region, according to Taste Atlas.
Named after the 19th-century poet Raimundo António de Bulhão Pato, Amêijoas à Bulhão Pato stand out for their simplicity and intense flavour. The dish is based on clams cooked in a sauce of garlic, olive oil and coriander.

Please send me (and your readers) some of the restaurants that serve the clams. I haven’t come across that dish. Thanks so much!
