The venue has become the largest organic vineyard in southern Portugal, celebrating with the launch of the new 2024 vintages: Palhete and Branco, two fresh, elegant, low-intervention wines that reflect the project’s commitment to the land, authenticity and the right timing of things.
Made with indigenous grapes – Negra Mole and Crato Branco – from old vines in sandy soil, without any addition of chemically synthesised products, both wines are certified organic and represent an agriculture that respects the cycle of the land, with minimal intervention and maximum intention.
The agricultural practices are regenerative, the labels come without artifice, and each harvest seeks a balance between memory, landscape, and future.
Tourism of the senses: taste, stay, return… Morgado is also a place to live. The estate welcomes visitors all year round, with open air tastings, lunches under centuries-old olive trees, harvest programmes and stays in the family’s restored houses.
Wine tourism here is intimate, slow-paced, with room for long conversations, simple dishes and authentic discoveries. An Algarve experience far from the clichés – and increasingly sought after by those traveling with time and their eyes wide open.
