Running for almost 20 years in Brussels, the “World Naked Bike Ride” is an awareness campaign highlighting the vulnerability of pedestrians and cyclists.

The protest condemns urban pollution caused by emissions from fossil-fuelled vehicles all over the world, also promoting body positivity with hundreds of cyclists stripping down in participation.
Launched in June 2005, the nudity involved in the event symbolises the dangers for the cyclists who live in a car-centred society.
