A team of doctors from the US, UK, and Switzerland have developed an artificial intelligence tool that can predict which men with prostate cancer will benefit from a drug that halves the risk of dying.

At the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the world’s largest cancer conference, the AI test will be unveiled.
Abiraterone has already helped hundreds of thousands with advanced prostate cancer to live longer, which is the most common form of the disease in men in more than 100 countries.
