Lisbon: The weekend is to be dry with hazy high cloud and highs of 24 degrees on Saturday and intermittent cloud cover on Sunday with highs of 29 degrees. Thermometers are to rise sharply on Monday up to highs of 37 degrees and will increase further on Tuesday up to 38 degrees during the day.
The north: The rain is expected to ease by Saturday, however, there will still be heavy cloud cover and temperatures are to peak at 26 degrees. On Sunday, temperatures are to begin to rise again and there will be no chance of rain with thermometers set to hit highs of 38 degrees by Tuesday with lows of 18 degrees.
The centre: The hazy high cloud on Friday is to continue on Saturday with highs of 31 degrees and nightly lows of 14 degrees. On Sunday, it will begin to become hotter again, with highs of 36 degrees and temperatures peaking at 40 degrees on Tuesday and dropping down to nightly lows of 23 degrees.
The south: Prolonged sunny periods and some intermittent cloud cover is forecast for the weekend with temperatures peaking at 34 degrees and dropping to lows of 19 degrees. The weather is to remain stable for the following week with average daily highs of 34 degrees and nightly lows of 23 degrees.
Madeira: The rain is to stop over the weekend, although there will be a slight chance of showers on Saturday when temperatures are to reach highs of 25 degrees and lows of 18 degrees. On Sunday, the cloud cover is to lessen and the weather is to then be stable for the following week with highs of 24 degrees and lows of 19 degrees.
The Azores: There will be a chance of rain on both Saturday and Sunday when temperatures will reach average highs of 24 degrees and lows of 17 degrees. There will still be a chance of rain on Monday and Tuesday; however, cloud cover is to lessen by Wednesday.
