After celebrating five years in Portugal, Maleo Offices will launch a new area dedicated to the housing market, to be called Maleo Living.

The first project will represent an investment of €4 million and is expected to be completed by the end of this year. "It's a more innovative business than what we traditionally do. We've seen great difficulty among our corporate clients in securing housing for their employees, whether Portuguese or international, who come to work temporarily in their offices in Portugal," Nishel Rajani, CEO of Maleo Offices, told Jornal Económico.

This building will be located in Lumiar and will consist of 38 one- and two-bedroom apartments, all leased. "We'll start with 10 to 12 units in this first phase," said the CEO, emphasising that the project "will truly be a disruptive product," highlighting that Maleo Living must be distinct from co-living, just as Maleo Offices must be distinct from coworking.

With seven centres in Lisbon and one that has recently opened in Porto, the Maleo Offices group has already invested over €10 million since 2020, and over €2 million during the first half of 2025. Among its main clients and partners are Visa, Salesforce, Amgen, BCG, Bain & Company, and Fortis Games.

With these international clients in mind, the company is also investing in the Maleo Living concept, aiming to help address the global housing crisis. "We're creating this concept because the world is experiencing a homelessness problem, and we believe that companies have a key role to play in helping to solve this problem," says Nishel Rajani.
